About Legacy Oxford

The Legacy Oxford Assessment has been proven beneficial to all ages. It is designed to help you fine tune your strengths and leadership skills. The main tool we use is the Birkman Method, which has been the leader in the industry since 1951. It helps individuals understand how they view themselves and others. This assessment will help provide an accurate view of how you perceive your place in society.

One of the biggest benefits of the assessment is it helps you see how you are wired–who you are at your core. This insight affects how you handle your career, your relationships, and even your home life. In addition, this assessment will help you recognize which careers are best suited for you, provide information about how to prepare for a job, and what to look for in a company and coworkers.

It will also explain how to resolve conflict in your relationships and how to address the root of your needs. Knowing how to meet your needs will aid in finding contentment and an understanding of any frustrations you may encounter.

Benefits

Legacy Oxford has added benefits for different ages.

High School Students

For high schoolers, the assessment can help them determine whether college is the correct next step. If so, it will guide each student to discover a major that best suits their individual interests, talents, and personalities. In addition, the Legacy Oxford team will help connect you to staff, faculty, and students on that campus. They will assist in aligning you with student organizations, churches, and leaders that will help you find social and academic success in college.

College Students

For college students, the Legacy Assessment helps them determine career choices in which they would thrive and even identify certain careers to avoid. After discussing their assessment with a consultant, students will have the opportunity to click on each of the suggested career links to learn more about each one, including pay ranges for specific jobs in their state and job opportunities in that suggested field. The assessment also prepares students for job interviews. The Legacy Oxford team will assist in business connections for internships and possible job opportunities.

Career Change

For those looking for a job, interested in a career change, or facing discontentment at work, the Legacy Oxford team will provide assistance with conflict resolution and will work to assess the career best suited for the individual.

About Kyle Cole

My name is Kyle Cole. After spending 20 plus years working on a college campus, I have learned that it takes much more than academic success for a rewarding career. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, 80% of university students change their major at least once. Honestly, even that number feels optimistic. Even worse, many students graduate in a field in which they soon discover they have little interest.

For various reasons, graduates accept jobs that do not suit them and then deal with many trials as they switch fields. I want to help address these problems. I want to sit down with you and help you understand who you are and what makes you tick.

When I went through the assessment, I had my doubts that it would be beneficial. I was shocked to see all the ways it personally helped me. One of the things I learned about myself is that I’m at my best when I can help others. That is exactly why I got into this field and what I want to do for you.

I want to help you determine what majors or careers will be life-giving to you. More than that I want help you understand who you are and why you are that way, how you fit into the world around you, and what strengths you have to offer society. I believe a key to contentment is understanding your purpose in this world and finding a place you can thrive. I want to help you find your purpose and leave your legacy.
